Our team has been diligently looking at all the feedback and reports coming from the community, and we have valuable information to share that we hope will be of help.

*LAST UPDATED: February 25th, 2026 – Any changes from the previous version of this report will be added in italic lettering to facilitate distinguishing new updates. This is the final update for this report, as we transition over to using the Live Bug Tracker in its place.

Modding Reminder

We’ve seen reports of the game crashing upon launch, and in the vast majority of early cases this was because the game was modded. We do not officially support mods, so if you have used them on any of your old saves, you are likely going to crash. We recommend removing all mods and starting a new save if you want to enjoy the content. Do consider that simply reinstalling the game can still leave mod files behind.

Note: To help clear up any misconceptions, mods are not THE source of crashes here. They do, however, historically contribute to them. We’re addressing the issues we can internally but unfortunately cannot address issues caused by external Mods and recommend you uninstall them to see if that helps with any issues you might be experiencing.

Platform Parity

All platforms have returned to version parity.

Patch Schedule

Starting in February, with Patch 1.37.4, we’ve entered a schedule of monthly patches for the first half of 2026. We will continue to work on fixing Megatech issues in parallel to addressing longstanding issues and other feedback to bring quality-of-life improvements to the base game.

To review previous hotfixes, you can find the full compiled list here.

Live Bug Tracker

Work continues on fixing the remaining issues in the game. For added visibility, you can find a list of known issues in our Live Bug Tracker, along with the expected patches we plan to get a fix out for them and other information worth sharing. This isn’t a completely comprehensive list of every bug present in the game, largely the ones that get reported the most to our support team.

PS5 Save File Imports

If you encounter trouble importing your PS4 save files over to the PS5 version, you can refer to this guide for step-by-step instructions

PS4 DLC not transferring to the PS5 version

Players who purchased the Megatech Deluxe Bundle for the PS4 version of the game on December 11th or before did not retain access to said DLC after upgrading to the PS5 version. We contacted PlayStation to remedy the situation and heard back that as of mid-January, all affected players should have correctly received their DLC. If for whatever reason this wasn’t the case for you, please contact our support team: support@systemera.net.

Save File Repair Tool Addition – Partial Nuggets

Some issues in the game could create “partial nuggets” of resources that cannot be interacted with and block access to the slots they’re in. We’ve issued a fix that should address this bug on all newly generated resource deposits, though you may still experience partial nuggets that persist from prior to this fix.

For this reason, we have updated the Save File Repair Tool so that it now has the option to remove partial nuggets from a save file. If your save has been affected by this issue, follow the link to this guide for steps to follow and look for the “Delete Partial Nuggets” setting.

Thank you to everyone for sending in your bug reports and for your patience while we work out these issues. For anyone encountering issues, please send us an email bug report to support@systemera.net with as much info as possible, including which platform you play on, your in-game username, and a description of the problem encountered so we can sort it all and work on it.
